vTuned Garage

If your biggest and wildest automotive renovations are often described by the adage; “there is only one way to eat a giant; a bite at a time”, YouTube’s vTuned Garage recognizes your quest. While today’s extreme car builders are probably not trying to reflect on this universal quote, they are generally paralleling the same game plan when they pursue and accomplish mammoth automotive jobs. That is to say, making progress when building custom cars requires a resourceful and targeted “steady it goes, one step at a time” scheme.

vTuned Garage on YouTube Autmotive Shop

vTuned Garage on YouTube shares car creations that unveil frame-off restorations, full-race chassis installations, late-model powertrain installs, large body panel structure replacements, and much more. In more detail, Chattanooga, Tennessee based vTuned Garage takes on everything from early Mustang builds with Coyote engines to supercar McLaren collision renovations. That Mustang build is also undergoing a complete race chassis creation and install. And the McLaren was bought as a totaled car in Florida and vTuned Garage has been busy bringing it all the way back to life so that it looks like showroom new. Best of all, try finding used parts for the McLaren. As with most automotive projects, the work often requires an insurmountable amount of time, commitment, imagination, and the right shop equipment to consistently achieve top-notch standards. In other words, a good team that compliments talent with innovative garage equipment like BendPak delivers.

With the demands of custom auto work constantly unfolding at vTuned Garage, they count on their BendPak’s products because they know these auto lifts and shop equipment are always reliable. For instance, when vTuned Garage is sectioning in a custom-made full chassis under a vintage car, they need to have full confidence that the vehicle is stabile resting on an auto lift’s runways. Even a slight movement of 1/16” during welding can cause big problems later when the body panels are reinstalled or when the car is getting a four-wheel alignment. For predictable reliability vTuned Garage chooses BendPak because of its well-established engineering and strength.

Watch vTunedGarage on YouTube, use their BendPak HD-9 4-Post lift. As they cut, build, and weld custom chassis sections for an early Mustang. Accurate welding and installation dimensions and angles are very critical here. The Mustang is securely positioned on a BendPak HD-9 4-Post lift.

BendPak recognizes vTuned Garage‘s love-of-labor and has been engineering and building well-built and sturdy lifts and equipment to accomplish thousands of automotive jobs throughout the industry for decades. To triumph their goals and provide the always needed vehicle support, vTuned Garage currently uses 3 BendPak products. These are an an HD-9 4-Post lift, an XPR-10AS-LP 2-Post lift, and to stay cool in Tennessee’s hot and rugged summers, a CB-30L Cool Boss Swamp Cooler.

BendPak’s XPR-10AS-LP- vTuned Garage

Do you need a 2-post to lift really heavy vehicles? When vTuned Garage’s team needs wheels-free, undercar access, they turn to their BendPak XPR-10AS-LP. Its 2-post design allows vTuned to lift up to 10,000 lbs. and includes useful features like optional Low Profile lift arms. The low-profile arms come in handy for cars that ride lower than stock, and also for full-scale builds where cars may set closer to the ground during repairs, than they otherwise would. These Low Profile Arms are designed to sneak low (without hitting) under a chassis to reach the appropriate lift points. Capabilities like these are often necessary when measuring, cutting, welding, and designing a one-off suspension under a vintage body or repairing a McLaren from a head-on collision. With the relentless and unpredictable projects and fabrications that vTuned Garage performs, they need to rely on versatile and well-built auto lifts and shop equipment, like those offered from BendPak.

BendPak’s CB-30L Cool Boss-vTuned Garage

vTuned Garage’s team has lots of cool equipment and tools to help them turn out great work. But their Chattanooga, Tennessee zip code can get pretty hot and sticky in the summer months. So the team could comfortably perform their work, vTuned Garage sought after a chillier climate. In other words, way down from hot and humid. Bendpak has an easy solution for that. It is called our CB-30L Cool Boss. The CB-30L Cool Boss is an evaporative air cooler (sometimes referred to as a swamp cooler) that works on the simple physics principle of evaporation. While water runs over a large media pad and evaporates, a cooling effect occurs and a huge 30” fan propels the cooled air throughout the work area. This unit can lower shop temperatures by as much as 26 degrees. So if it is 100, the temp (humidity allowing) can drop down to 74 degrees. The unit is on wheels so it is easy to move into places that need to be cooled. In other words, under a lift, aimed at a hot engine compartment, or directed inside of a car while you are trying to reach that turn-signal flasher buried above the steering column on a warranty waiter. Simply add water and plug in the CoolBoss to the nearest source of 110V electric.

With BendPak’s auto lifts, useful features, and helpful shop equipment, your team will be well-equipped to tackle and complete auto building jobs one bite at a time.
