(April 18, 2024) — The new Cool Boss™ CB-28HV Desert Storm Series high-velocity portable evaporative cooler is built tough to keep soldiers and workers cool whether they’re in the desert or somewhere that just feels like the desert. The Desert Storm Series efficiently cools expansive spaces at large government and military installations and industrial warehouses to ensure optimal working conditions for maintenance and operations personnel.

Boasting a high-speed energy-efficient motor paired with a 28-inch diameter 5-blade axial-flow fan, the 220-volt Desert Storm CB-28HV cooler generates nearly 18,000 cubic feet per minute of invigorating, climate-controlled air.
The Desert Storm Series is designed without a drive belt to deliver higher efficiency and smoother operation, including less vibration and noise, reduced maintenance, and longer service life. A variable frequency drive (VFD) controller precisely adjusts the speed of the motor in real time to reduce energy use compared to a direct-in-line motor.
The CB-28HV also features a dedicated touchpad control panel for intuitive control and real-time monitoring of performance metrics. Productivity-enhancing features include a built-in 4,000 lumen adjustable LED floodlight, wireless Bluetooth™ speaker system, and remote control with auto-time shutoff.
Unlike other Cool Boss models that are black, the Desert Storm Series’ antibacterial LLDPE plastic enclosure is tan.
