In Tune with BendPak
Did you know BendPak lifts are skillfully versatile? So are the experts who use them. Imagine you are a young United States Air Force Veteran with a comprehensive background in Aerospace Mechanics. Your hands-on resume demonstrates that your skills are versatile and you have spent quite some time turning wrenches on a variety of very high performing and complicated jet equipment. Plus you have a BA in Transportation and Logistics Management. Where do you set your career path going forward?
Meet Sarah Greenwood. She is the young United States Air Force Veteran now on her own mission and she has created a big splash on YouTube with millions of followers. Sarah’s cutting-edge YouTube videos (Sarah N Tuned) incorporate many of the mechanical skills that she learned in the Air Force. She also enjoys building cars, repairing components, making modifications, and reviewing some of the hottest new cars on the market. If you haven’t seen her channel yet, Sarah’s self-prescribed strategy as a YouTube Content creator provides a place where viewers can watch and learn as she tackles all kinds of her own automotive and/or mechanical maneuvers.
Part of what keeps Sarah N Tuned so interesting is that her reality-based videos seem to always include the unforeseen pitfalls and successes one might never expect. Her personal vehicles she has chosen to use on her YouTube, Sarah N Tuned channel have all been named by her and include a 2015 Subaru Forester XT Premium (nicknamed Forester Gump), a 2001 Audi TT Quattro (nicknamed TeeTer Tot), and a 1991 Toyota MR2 (nicknamed Mr. Dos).
So when Sarah needed undercar vehicle access to keep her automotive taskforce operating, she looked for lift equipment that could handle a variety of vehicle designs, aid with automotive repairs, and greet lifting challenges with ease. In turn BendPak delivered two capable 2-post lifts, namely very strong and versatile Grand Prix 2-Post GP-7’s. Each will effortlessly raise up to 7,000 lbs. at a height of 74” above the floor.

With her cool cruisers and BendPak GrandPrix GP-7’s in place, Sarah Greenwood’s Arizona desert locale has made a great setting to showcase her reality-based automotive pursuits. With these videos, Sarah has garnered a following that totals an impressive several million viewers. Once you spend just a few moments on Sarah N Tuned Social channels, you will recognize that Sarah is a car enthusiast to the core. Take for instance that 1991 Toyota MR2. That particular car is not just one of the 3 that she owns, but is the car she dreamed of having years back in high school.
So when she located this one advertised for sale, she eagerly secured the deal. The Toyota when purchased by Sarah had been set aside by its previous owner and was far from operating properly. Hence the sale price to Sarah for just $2,600. But after 3 years of laboring, Sarah has restored and built the MR2 to just as she wanted it. For a sampling of what she has created, check out the following link where Sarah’s 1991 Toyota MR2 (Mr. Dos) is purchased and then becomes transformed.
But most importantly, Sarah demonstrates on her channels that building a car from beginning to end largely requires attention to detail, curiosity, and the confidence to learn. The costs, allotted time, and the ability can almost always just be separated into smaller sections. In other words, by fostering your skills and versatility you can continue to make progress.
That same skillful attention to detail is evident in almost all of her Social productions. Where others might deliver their Social video works by explaining an endless information account of “this is it”, Sarah’s perspective addresses mechanical challenges with a seemingly deliberate “this is why?” It is this flair for principally thinking out loud with impulsiveness that even non-car enthusiasts can appreciate while viewing.
Just like her strong work ethic, her handy GrandPrix GP-7’s from Bendpak share numerous quality attributes too and are always ready to work as one of her team players. With so many of GP-7’s lifting features, Sarah can position any of her cars to the perfect working height to accomplish many challenges.
