SANTA PAULA, CA (May 18^th, 2023) – BendPak is gearing up to head over to the UK for Automechanika 2023, being held in Birmingham! If you’re not familiar, here’s some key info. Automechanika is a massive trade exhibition which draws thousands of visitors from motor factories, retailers, garages, body shops, and more. From June 6^th-8^th, there will be 500 suppliers from 23 countries showing off the best they have to offer, but it wouldn’t be a proper automotive tradeshow without BendPak! Head over to Hall 18 Booth U72 to get up close and personal with some of our advanced EV service lifts, QuickJacks, and fan-favorite Ranger equipment. Let’s take a look at what you can expect from BendPak at Automechanika Birmingham 2023!

Ready to Work on EVs?

Every year, electric vehicles become more and more commonplace. The thing is though, you can’t rely on older lifts to be able to safely handle them. Why? For one, EVs are typically heavier than your traditional car, and weight distribution is also very different. That’s why BendPak has developed the 10AP, as part of the new AP Series of two-post lifts. This two-post lift can safely handle up to 10,000 lbs. and comes sporting a revolutionary and patented triple-telescoping nested swing arm design. Unlike traditional two-post lifts, 10AP arms are able to retract shorter and extend farther, meaning that operators can take advantage of many unique lift arm positioning options. The Low-Pro™ swing arms feature a dropped-end pad receiver which results in better serviceability on lowered chassis-height vehicles. What’s more, BendPak exclusive Bi-Metric™ arms give you the ability to lift up in either symmetric or asymmetric configurations. This 2-in-1 design won’t have you constantly switching out arms, meaning you’ll be servicing more cars than ever before.

When you’re working on EVs, you’ll also want a high-quality lift table to make sure you have the versatility you need to get the job done. That’s where the Mobi-EVS Series comes in. The EV2400SL and EV4000SL make up the Mobi-EVS line of push-around, full-rise scissor style lift tables, and they’re perfectly suited for EV battery pack replacement. Featuring a compact design, BendPak EV lift tables can be easily transported wherever you need them the most.

Each lift table features multiple recessed anchoring locations for accommodating a wide variety of modular fixtures, adapters, and accessories. Adjustable screw jacks on each corner will provide effortless pitch and roll adjustments for more precise alignment of high-voltage batteries, engine and drivetrain assemblies, fuel tanks, and more.

Depending on the model you go with, you’ll be able to safely handle 2,400 lbs. or 4,000 lbs. worth of weight, and revolutionary turn-on-a-dime zero-throw casters allow both lift tables to move and change direction with only a fraction of the effort normally associated with plain swivel casters.

QuickJack – The Smarter, Easier Way to Work

Whether you work in a professional shop or just enjoy working in your garage, you’re sure to love everything the QuickJack has to offer. The new TL Series still delivers the same small storage footprint convenience you’ve come to expect from QuickJack, but now with an additional three inches of lift. Now, it may not seem like much, but if you’ve ever worked under a car you know how valuable that is. Each model boasts the same top-of-the-line safety features like auto-locking safety bars, a quick rise, and user-friendly one-hand operation.

QuickJack is great when you need to change a tire or do some quick repair, and it’s also an ideal choice for auto detailing. Thanks to its easy maneuverability and ergonomic height, QuickJack is being favored by pros and home enthusiasts alike for its versatility. Take it out to the racetrack and eliminate unnecessary down time that would’ve been wasted on jacks and stands.

Ranger – Top of the Line Equipment Since 1997

Back in the 90s, BendPak introduced Ranger. This would be BendPak’s first step towards becoming a diverse, full-service, single-source provider for emerging vehicle repair markets. We’ll be bringing some classic Ranger equipment, like our Parts Washers.

Ranger Parts Washers are incredibly easy to use! With their simple operating controls and large capacities, they enhance efficiency as well as cost-effectiveness. Now you can clean truck and SUV components quickly and efficiently no matter the size you go with. We’ll be bringing the RS-750DS and RS-500DS Stainless Steel models. These models stand out as they have increased resistance to deterioration as well as the harmful effects of rust. Our Parts Washers feature dual heaters so you’ll be able to reach your optimal temperature in no time at all, and if the water level gets too low the unit will automatically shutoff, preventing irreversible pump-seal damage and heating coil burnout.

We’ll also be bringing our claim to fame with us: Pipe Benders! We’ll have the 1302BA Series represented, and this series features an ergonomically placed and highly sophisticated keypad display that can record bending patterns for accurate and repetitive use. This is what you’ll want in your shop when you’re incredibly busy. With a bending capacity of 170° (or 180° with the optional die) you’ll be getting a full U-shape with ease.
