SEMA Show Cancelled. Now what?

SEMA Show 2020 Cancelled

If you’re into anything automotive, then you are familiar with the SEMA Show. As many of you know the SEMA Show has been occurring now for just over 50 years and shortly after its founding, has been held in Las Vegas. For those of you new to the aftermarket automotive industry either as a career or enthusiast, SEMA stands for Specialty Equipment Market Association. This trade association consists of a wide group of manufacturers, distributors, retailers, media companies, auto restorers, street-rod builders, customizers, car clubs, race teams and more from all over the world.

At BendPak, we’ve been exhibiting our long line of products at SEMA for many years. As well we’ve been in the automotive lift and equipment business about the same amount of time as SEMA. Whether its auto lifts, automotive shop equipment and accessories or more, we strive to be the best to help you do what you do at your best.

This year, we’ve been working our best to stay safe, social distance, and like you, do our part to help stop the spread of COVID. And since we first heard of COVID much earlier this year, we’ve been hoping the situation would have improved so much that by November 2020, the automotive aftermarket along with all of its participants, could have made it to Las Vegas for the annual SEMA Show 2020 where we could show the world some of the latest and best car lifts that BendPak has been working on.

But like many in the aftermarket, in early August we received an email from our friends at SEMA that we had hoped would have never arrived. The email stated that the SEMA Show 2020 in Las Vegas is cancelled due to continuing COVID concerns and that SEMA is looking forward to resuming SEMA for 2021. With SEMA 2020 cancelled, we too look forward to SEMA 2021 and promise that we will continue to design, evolve, and provide the latest BendPak equipment you have grown accustomed to using. Stay safe and we hope to see you at SEMA 2021.
