Wrapping up 2022

SANTA PAULA, CA (December 2022) – This year was one of great change for BendPak. We saw cutting edge new tech get revealed, we expanded our operations even further, and we’ve had a change in leadership. We'll get into what was going on this year at BendPak, but first let's go over some major Holiday Sales going on right now! Start the year off right with some of the best equipment in the industry!

Change in Leadership

Don Henthorn is the founder of BendPak, and since 1965 he has been leading the company into becoming the international powerhouse it is today. Back in August, Jeff Kritzer, the former Executive Vice President, had been promoted to CEO and President of the company. Kritzer has been a part of the company for over 40 years and played an integral role in helping BendPak attain the recognition it has today. Henthorn has taken on a more limited role as Chairman Emeritus and will continue to offer his unsurpassed wisdom as we move forward. Rudy Diaz moved up from Vice President of Information Technology to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Jim Fornear, the former Financial Controller, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Javier Arias retains the critical role of Vice President of Operations. While there is some shuffling within our executive team, BendPak remains committed to providing world-class products and superior customer service.

Expansion

In an effort to minimize time-in-transit across the 50 states, we’ve expanded our East Coast operations. We’ve essentially doubled its size in fact! With this latest expansion, we’ve practically added another 100,000 square feet of warehouse space to our logistics and distribution center in Theodore, Alabama. Meanwhile in our SoCal headquarters, we recently added a new building which means we now have over 350,000 square feet of warehouse and office space. In total, BendPak facilities now encompass more than 700,000 square feet worldwide!

New Tech

2022 was huge for BendPak. With the EV24000SL powertrain lifting system and the 10AP Series of two-post lifts, we’ve introduced the future of BendPak and how we’ll support Electric Vehicles. With our COOLBREEZE and COOLBLAST Series we’ve shown off the evolution of our popular Cool Boss Evaporative Coolers. We even showed off our new creeper seat, the Ergochair – our adjustable-height rolling work seat which moves smoothly in all directions.
