BendPak’s newest two-post lift in the XPR series, the XPR-12CL-LTA, is the long arm of the law around these (car) parts. With its 12,000-lb. capacity, and long-reach three-stage telescoping arms, the LTA is the perfect two-post lift for garages and shops working with the big guns of the industry. But why did we make the LTA when the XPR-12CL already features the latest and greatest technology around? And why does the new long arm of the law need to be so… long?

Why The Long Face Arms? 

Cars with extremely long wheelbases force your two-post lift to move the lifting arms in towards the middle, which can leave your car unbalanced. The XPR-12CL-LTA fixes this issue by extending the reach of your two-post lift arms and giving you an extra 14” of reach. Even vehicles with extremely long wheelbases are no match for the new long arm of the law.

These extra-lengthened arms are perfectly matched to better support your vehicle’s center of balance, something that is fairly important to consider when operating a two-post lift. So no matter how long your truck or SUV may be, rest easy knowing that your heavy projects are being lifted safely.  

What is The XPR-12CL-LTA?

The XPR-12CL-LTA is the latest development in BendPak’s two-post lift XPR series. With its long lifting arms and strengthened carriage, the LTA is one of BendPak’s most versatile two-post lifts. Similar to the XPR-12CL, the LTA has a 12,000-lb. capacity, which makes it ideal for bigger trucks and SUVs. But it can also handle your smaller projects as well. With the three-stage telescoping technology you can rapidly extend and contract the length of your lifting arms to fit passenger vehicles of any size. The telescoping arms easily retract to access the lifting points of smaller passenger cars, making the LTA perfect for shops that work on a wide range of vehicle designs.

What’s The difference?

Though the XPR-12CL is an excellent piece of heavy-duty equipment, we thought we could make it even more versatile! The LTA has several key features that make it stand out in the two-post lift XPR series. The most noteworthy of these is the extra-long lifting arms with a 72” maximum range, which extends even further than the 58” on the standard XPR-12CL two-post lift. To compensate for this extra length, the XPR-12CL-LTA’s carriage strength has been significantly increased, which helps maintain your two-post lift’s safety and durability. Aside from the length of the arms, the LTA also has several minor differences in overall lift height and width all of which add to the pure strength and versatility of this commercial-grade two-post lift.
