Report Fraudulent Sites

Dear Customers,

Here at BendPak, we take your safety very seriously. With many authorized distributors, we know scammers and thieves attempt to use fraudulent websites to steal your personal and financial information. Here’s a few tips to identify and avoid such websites.

  1. Look for signs that the company is legitimate. Does it seem like they have a real-world presence. You can find out by trying to contact them as well as look into reviews.
  2. Are the prices unbelievable? If you’re seeing BendPak equipment for thousands less than what you’re seeing on BendPak.com or other sites, it’s a scam. Always err on the side of caution and do additional research before giving any site personal information.
  3. Check the site for some key giveaways. Is the URL misspelled? That’s a pretty big red flag. Even if the link looks legit, you can always right click and select “Properties” to reveal the true destination of a link as well.
  4. Check the “Lock” Icon. Clicking on the Lock icon will give you additional detailed information on the security status of the website you’re on.

Prices this cheap can't be real because they aren't. If you see sites like this please report them.

If you happen to come across any sites that seem too good to be true, we encourage you to report these suspicious sites to the relevant authorities.

One option is to report fraudulent sites to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which is the government agency that handles consumer complaints related to identity theft and online scams. You can file a complaint with the United States Federal Trade Commission at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/assistant

Another option is to use Google's Report Phishing Pages tool, which allows you to report phishing pages directly to Google so that they can be removed from search results and blocked from future use. You can access the tool at https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/.

In addition to these resources, we also encourage you to report any fraudulent sites you come across to us at BendPak. We take all reports seriously and will do our best to help protect you and other customers from online scams and theft.

Thank you for your help in keeping our community safe and secure.

Sincerely,

The BendPak Team
