The BendPak OctaFlex 12DPS is a purpose-built two-post service lift for the realities of modern repair work. Electric vehicles require controlled handling of large battery packs, while diesel trucks often demand cab-off service, drivetrain separation, subframe work, and other procedures that involve supporting both the vehicle and major components at the same time. At its core, the OctaFlex combines a 12,000-lb. primary two-post lift with an integrated 6,000-lb. auxiliary lift-assist system. Four primary arms and four auxiliary arms create an eight-arm service platform that helps technicians raise the vehicle while maintaining controlled support of cabs, drivetrains, EV batteries, suspension assemblies, and other heavy components.

Cab-Off Truck Service and EV Battery Replacement Capability

Cab-off diesel service is one of the clearest reasons to choose the OctaFlex 12DPS. By supporting the vehicle and major assemblies on the same system, technicians can maintain better alignment between the cab, chassis, and drivetrain from disassembly through reassembly. That can reduce repeated adjustments and help difficult jobs come back together more naturally. For EV service, the auxiliary lift-assist system gives technicians a controlled way to support battery packs beneath the vehicle while the primary lift holds the vehicle above. The OctaFlex platform is built around four primary lifting arms and four auxiliary arms that work together as one coordinated service system. Patent-pending triple-telescoping swing arms extend farther and retract shorter than conventional arms, giving technicians more reach and more flexibility when positioning lift points across trucks, SUVs, EVs, and passenger vehicles. Bi-Metric™ arm geometry allows quick adjustment between symmetric and asymmetric configurations, helping shops balance heavier vehicles while maintaining cabin access. This combination of reach, support, and arm layout makes the OctaFlex more than a traditional two-post lift with extra parts bolted on.

Direct-Drive Hydraulics and Shop-Focused Control

Twin direct-drive hydraulic cylinders eliminate chains and screw lifting mechanisms, delivering smooth lifting performance while reducing maintenance requirements. The high-volume, low-pressure hydraulic system lowers stress on internal components while maintaining consistent lift operation in high-use dealership, fleet, and professional repair environments. A handheld pendant gives technicians precise control of lift operation and safety-lock release during lowering. Clearfloor layout, maintenance-free UHMW load bearings, industrial-grade components, single-piece columns, oversized carriages, and durable finishes help the OctaFlex 12DPS support the increasing complexity of modern vehicle service.
