The BendPak HDSO14AX Open-Front Alignment Lift is built for shops that want heavy-duty alignment capability without a front crossbar blocking the work area. With 14,000-lb. lifting capacity, extended alignment runways, front turn plates, and rear multi-caster slip plates, this open-front four-post lift gives technicians the access and precision needed for serious alignment and front-end service. The open-front design makes it easier to enter and exit beneath the vehicle, helping speed up front-end adjustment, steering work, suspension inspection, and alignment setup. The HDSO14AX uses patented adjustable front outrigger tubes that help fine-tune front-lift leveling. Their infinitely adjustable pitch can compensate for heavier loads and sloped floors, which is especially valuable when alignment accuracy and runway position matter. Rear-facing multi-caster slip plates and front-facing turn plates support precise, free-floating alignment work. Two recessed turn plate pockets allow technicians to position galvanized, corrosion-resistant turn plates as needed, while runways adjust for different tread widths and include rail kits for optional accessories.

Oversized Sheaves, Aircraft Cables, and Built-In Lubrication

BendPak equips the HDSO14AX with oversized 10.5-inch cable sheaves, 2.25-inch sheave axles, and four heavy-duty 1/2-inch, 6 x 25 aircraft-quality steel lifting cables routed through the columns. These components are built to support years of commercial alignment work while helping reduce cable wear and service demands. Grease fittings help keep the sheaves lubricated and the cable system operating smoothly. The lift structure routes cables, sheaves, airlines, and critical components internally, keeping the system cleaner, better protected, and visually cleaner in the bay.

Auto-Leveling Safety Locks and Push-Button Pneumatic Release

The HDSO14AX includes an automatic leveling system, multiple auto-leveling locking positions, and spring-loaded safety locks that engage as the platforms rise. This design helps keep the lift stable and level, even when the shop floor has a slight slope. A push-button pneumatic lock release disengages the locks simultaneously for even platform descent, while a secondary slack-cable lock system helps stop operation if dangerous cable slack is detected. Optional RJ-7 bridge jacks add wheel-service capability, giving this open-front alignment lift the flexibility to support alignments, wheel work, brake service, and suspension jobs.
