The HD-9EWT uses an electric-hydraulic power system with controls positioned within reach, a single hydraulic cylinder mounted beneath the runway, heavy-duty lifting cables, and internal routing for cables, airlines, safety latches, and sheaves. Dual-hub cable sheaves help reduce premature wear, while oversized self-lubricating cable rollers, internal anti-sway slider blocks, and multi-position safety locks support stable operation through repeated parking and service cycles.
