Automatic Swing Arm Restraints for Heavy Vehicle Service
The 10AP-168 uses BendPak’s Automatic Swing Arm Restraint System, or ASARS, to help prevent unplanned arm movement during lifting and service. This patented forged-steel system provides a full 360 degrees of load-holding grip and is engineered to withstand more than 2,000 lbs. of side force when vehicles shift or load balance changes during repair.
That matters on modern vehicles, especially when technicians remove drivetrain components or service heavier EVs, trucks, vans, and SUVs. The system requires minimal operator involvement and includes a quick-release lever for fast arm adjustment, giving shops stronger arm control without slowing down the workflow.
Triple-Telescoping Low-Pro Arms for Better Lift-Point Access
Patented triple-telescoping nested swing arms give the 10AP-168 a wider reach range than traditional two-post lift arms. The arms retract shorter and extend farther, helping technicians reach factory lifting points on compact cars, larger vehicles, low-clearance platforms, and modern EV layouts with more precision.
BendPak Low-Pro™ arm construction adds dropped-end pad receivers and shorter-profile telescoping channels for better access under lowered chassis-height vehicles. Combined with Bi-Metric™ arm geometry, the lift can support both symmetric and asymmetric loading, making one lift more useful across a broader vehicle mix.
Professional Lift Operation with Durable AP Series Engineering
The 10AP-168 is engineered for daily shop use with dual hydraulic direct-drive cylinders, an electric hydraulic HVLP power system, oversized tall carriages, self-lubricating Dura-Glide UHMW polyethylene bearings, and high-strength galvanized equalizing cables. Safety locks in each column are spaced every 3 inches, and the single-point safety release keeps descent control simple from the operator side.
Double-telescoping screw pads with polyurethane contact surfaces help technicians level vehicles securely, while optional stackable adapters support additional pad height when needed. The durable powder coat finish, padded overhead shutoff bar, expandable top beam, and ALI certification round out a two-post lift built for serious professional service.
