The Ranger RP-50FC Oil Filter Crusher is built to help shops handle used oil filters faster, cleaner, and more efficiently. With a powerful 25-ton crushing capacity and 50,000 lbs. of force, this heavy-duty oil filter crusher flattens car and truck filters to a fraction of their original size in seconds.
Used oil filters are often treated as contaminated waste, but the RP-50FC helps separate the crushed filter material from residual oil so both can be handled more effectively. By reducing filter volume and recovering used oil, shops can simplify disposal, improve recycling processes, and reduce the cost of managing used oil filter waste.
Recover Residual Oil and Reduce Filter Waste Volume
The RP-50FC compresses used oil filters down to approximately 20% of their original size while extracting up to 95% of the residual oil. That recovered oil gravity-drains through a transparent downspout tube, making it easy to monitor collection during operation.
Used oil is directed into storage drums ranging from 5 to 55 gallons, which can be placed directly beneath the crusher’s rugged stand. This efficient oil recovery process helps automotive shops, fleet maintenance facilities, and service centers reduce waste volume, recover valuable materials, and keep their work areas cleaner.
Automatic Oil Filter Crushing with Built-In Safety Features
The RP-50FC is designed for simple, ergonomic operation with easy-to-use controls placed for comfortable access. Load the used oil filter into the crushing chamber, press the green button to start the automatic press cycle, use the blue button for automatic return, or press the red button to stop operation when needed.
For added control, the RP-50FC includes a remote electric foot switch that gives operators another convenient way to manage press functions. A built-in automatic safety door with a reinforced transparent viewing window stops operation when opened, allowing technicians to work safely while keeping a clear view of the crushing process.
