Tilt-Back Tire Changing for Low-Profile and Run-Flat Work

Tilt-Back Tire Changing for Low-Profile and Run-Flat Work

The Ranger R76ATR Single-Tower Tilt-Back Tire Changer is built for shops that need more specialized wheel service capability than a standard swing-arm machine can offer. With a 30-inch capacity, tilt-back tower design, adjustable RimGuard clamps, and right-side assist tower, the R76ATR helps technicians handle aluminum wheels, low-profile tires, run-flats, and other stiff-sidewall applications with less effort. The buyer logic is simple: choose the R76ATR when your shop wants tilt-back convenience and assist capability in a versatile 30-inch machine. It is designed to save time during wheel loading, protect tires and wheels during service, and reduce operator fatigue on jobs that can quickly become difficult without the right support tools.
Tilt-Back Tower and RimGuard Clamps for Faster Setup

Tilt-Back Tower and RimGuard Clamps for Faster Setup

The tilt-back tower saves time by moving the tool head away from the wheel during loading and unloading, reducing the need to reset the duck head for every wheel diameter. Adjustable hardened-steel RimGuard clamps provide a large 30-inch turntable service range with internal clamping from 8 inches to 26 inches and external clamping from 10 inches to 30 inches. This combination helps the R76ATR work across a wide range of wheel sizes while giving technicians more confidence around aluminum wheels. The centering cone, clamp design, and protective service tools all support cleaner external clamping and more controlled wheel positioning.

Assist Tower Tools for Stiff Sidewalls and Bead Control

The right-side assist tower is designed for the kind of tire work that wears technicians out on basic machines. Top bead assist rollers, a multi-profile traveling drop-center tool, a lower bead lifting disc, and a nylon non-marring wheel restraint device help hold the bead in the drop center and protect the tire during service. A specialized saucer and roller combination adds another layer of control against stubborn beads. These features help reduce effort, increase safety, and limit fatigue when servicing low-profile and run-flat tires that do not behave like everyday sidewalls.

Electric Turntable, Integrated Inflation, and Shop-Ready Accessories

Electric Turntable, Integrated Inflation, and Shop-Ready Accessories

The R76ATR uses a high-torque electric turntable drive with increased speed and reversible direction for quicker tire removal and installation. Controlled rotation helps low-profile and run-flat beads relax, reducing the risk of damage during mounting and demounting. The machine includes an inflation system, gauge with integrated air dump valve, pressure regulator/limiter, water filter, oiler/lubricator, air regulator, bead tool, alloy-steel and nylon mount-demount heads, soap bucket, brush, TurboBlast bead seating system, and tool tray storage. For shops choosing between the R980DP and R76ATR, the R76ATR is the tilt-back single-assist path with broader wheel-loading convenience.
