Flush-Mount Mid-Rise Lifting That Disappears Into the Floor

Flush-Mount Mid-Rise Lifting That Disappears Into the Floor

The BendPak MDS-6LPF Flush-Mount Open-Center Mid-Rise Scissor Lift gives shops the same 6,000-lb. mid-rise capability as the MDS-6LP, but in a clean sub-surface installation that sits parallel with the floor when lowered. For lube shops, full-service bays, and home garages that want a zero-footprint lift, the MDS-6LPF keeps the bay open while still delivering serious service access. Its open-center layout, longer lifting platforms, and flush-mount design make it a strong choice for facilities that want mid-rise performance without a permanent obstacle on the shop floor. When installed in a pit or recessed bay, it can help create a smoother working area while preserving the lifting strength and safety features BendPak built into the MDS-6 platform.
Pneumatic Kick from Zero Footprint to Full Rise

Pneumatic Kick from Zero Footprint to Full Rise

The MDS-6LPF uses a pneumatic kicker to power the lift from its collapsed flush-mount position through the first stage of movement. That early boost helps overcome the mechanical disadvantage scissor lifts face at low height, giving the lift a stronger and more controlled start from the floor. Once the lift clears the initial rise, the hydraulic system takes over and raises the platforms to full working height in about 45 seconds. This makes the MDS-6LPF especially useful for shops that want the clean look of an in-ground installation without sacrificing mid-rise capability.

Four Hydraulic Cylinders for Balanced Platform Movement

Four hydraulic cylinders work together to raise the 6,000-lb. load evenly, while a flow divider helps maintain equal pressure through the system. The platforms rise and descend together throughout operation, giving technicians a stable base for vehicle service. Each platform features four solid steel scissor-frame support bars, and hinge points include Zerk grease fittings for simple lubrication at critical wear areas. The MDS-6LPF is built to handle daily service work while keeping maintenance practical.

Safety Locks, Contact Blocks, and Clean Shop Integration

Safety Locks, Contact Blocks, and Clean Shop Integration

Solid-steel safety lock bars engage automatically as the lift rises, giving operators three locking positions for different working heights. A push-button safety lock release system uses stainless-steel pneumatic cylinders to release the locks during descent without requiring manual release bars. Four cushioned-rubber contact blocks are included to support proper vehicle setup at manufacturer-recommended pick-up points. The flush-mount format, durable powder coat finish, and detailed installation guidance make the MDS-6LPF a professional mid-rise lift for shops that care about both access and floor space.
Flush-Mount Design

Flush-Mount Design

Installs below the floor for a clean, zero-footprint lift area. The MDS-6LPF keeps the bay usable when the lift is lowered.
6,000-lb. Capacity

6,000-lb. Capacity

Provides serious mid-rise lifting strength for cars and light-duty vehicles. The flush-mount layout does not sacrifice capability.
Pneumatic Kicker Assist

Pneumatic Kicker Assist

A pneumatic kick helps raise the lift from its collapsed position. This improves the early lift phase from a flush floor start.
Four Hydraulic Cylinders

Four Hydraulic Cylinders

Four cylinders and a flow divider help maintain balanced platform movement. The lift is built for smooth, level rise and descent.
Three Lock Positions

Three Lock Positions

Solid-steel safety locks engage automatically during ascent. Multiple working heights help improve comfort and productivity.
Push-Button Release

Push-Button Release

Stainless pneumatic cylinders release the locks during descent. The system keeps lock control away from the lift structure.
