The Cool Boss CB-16 Portable Evaporative Cooler delivers directional cooling for garages, workshops, patios, warehouses, home workspaces, and outdoor areas where comfort needs to move with the job. Built for quiet operation, portability, and space-saving performance, the CB-16 is easy to roll where cooling is needed and simple to start using.
Connect it to a standard garden hose or fill the portable water tank, roll it into position on oversized 4-inch caster wheels, and start cooling. As an energy-conscious alternative to traditional air conditioning, the CB-16 uses water evaporation to reduce surrounding temperatures without relying on compressors or refrigerants.
16-Inch Blue Flex Fan with 4,960 CFM Airflow
The CB-16 operates on regular 110-Volt household power and uses a 1/3 HP motor to circulate air through a 16-inch Blue Flex™ axial-flow fan. The fan is designed to pull more air at idle than traditional blade types, then slightly change shape at higher RPMs to help reduce drag and improve efficiency.
With 4,960 CFM of airflow and coverage up to 2,480 square feet, the CB-16 delivers strong output for its compact footprint. A venturi fan cone concentrates air velocity for a more powerful and directional blast of cool air.
Honeycool Media and 60-Gallon Reservoir for Efficient Cooling
Cool Boss Honeycool™ evaporative media pads soak up water like a sponge and help transform hot incoming air into a fresher, cooler breeze. The resin-covered hexagonal honeycomb design allows air to pass through efficiently while helping reduce water buildup inside the unit.
A 60-gallon cold-water reservoir helps the CB-16 deliver extended cooling without constant refilling. Water inlet flow control, automatic water source shutoff, variable-speed fan operation, and soft-touch LED controls give users more control over comfort and water usage.
Built-In Work Light, Bluetooth Audio, and Ducting Kit Compatibility
The CB-16 includes an 80W outdoor-rated adjustable floodlight that produces 4,000 lumens of bright work-area lighting, helping improve visibility and productivity in garages, patios, and workspaces. A built-in Bluetooth® audio player with stereo speakers lets users bring music, radio, or podcasts into the area while staying cool.
For users who need even more targeted cooling, the CB-16L is compatible with a 15-foot ducting kit made from flexible reinforced polyvinyl ducting. Durable HDPE housing, antibacterial construction, durable swivel casters, GFCI plug, protective cover, UL certification, and a 36-month warranty make the CB-16 a feature-packed cooler for serious comfort.
