Four PCL-18B Mobile Column Lifts, 72,000 lbs. of Shop Muscle

Four PCL-18B Mobile Column Lifts, 72,000 lbs. of Shop Muscle

The BendPak PCL-18B-4 Mobile Column Lift Set gives commercial shops a full four-column lifting system for heavy-duty trucks, buses, and fleet vehicles up to 72,000 lbs. With an 18,000-lb. individual column capacity, this set is a serious alternative to fixed heavy-duty lifts when your service operation needs more flexibility across the shop floor. A four-column set is the workhorse starting point for mobile column lifting. It gives technicians the ability to raise many heavy-duty commercial vehicles while keeping the bay more adaptable than a permanently installed lift. For shops that need more capacity later, the system can be expanded with additional PCL-18B columns.

A Full Mobile Column Lift Setup for Heavy-Duty Service

The PCL-18B-4 is designed for facilities that need dependable heavy-vehicle lifting without dedicating one bay to a fixed lift structure. When the job is done, the columns can be moved and stowed, helping shops reclaim floor space and adjust their workflow around changing vehicle schedules. For full wheel service, the set can be paired with a compatible PCL-18B cross beam to support frame-engaging work. That gives shops another path for tire removal, brake work, and wheel-end service on large vehicles when the application calls for it.

Synchronized Controls Without Cable Chaos

For a standard four-column set, just three 30-foot cables are used, leaving the front or back of the lift clear of cable obstructions. Controls can be programmed and managed from any column, while smart electronics, self-diagnostics, self-calibration, and sealed linear potentiometers help maintain accurate synchronization. The system supports SINGLE, PAIR, or TEAM operation, allowing trained operators to manage column movement with the level of control the job requires. Programmable height limits and two-speed lowering give shops more control over lift height and descent speed in real service environments.

Built for Long Service Life and Safer Heavy Lifting

Built for Long Service Life and Safer Heavy Lifting

The PCL-18B-4 combines an enclosed electric-hydraulic power system, 24-volt safety circuitry, multi-fuse protected electronics, and standard off-the-shelf PLC components that help reduce service complexity compared with proprietary control systems. It is built for simple operation, long service life, and minimum maintenance. Each column includes warning lights, audible alarms, emergency shut-off switches, independent automatic safety locks, and inverted hydraulic cylinders with integrated safety valves. Heavy-duty steel carriage rollers, extended forks, wheel-fork locking pins, forklift pockets, and durable powder coat construction help the system stand up to daily commercial shop use.
