The BB-2 includes the BB-1 tooling package, two rear end-finishing units, quick-release bending and finishing dies, a high-speed clampless swager, and an internal expander. Rigid Steel Frame, Hydraulic Power, and Precision Tooling
The BB-2 uses a rigid 6" x 6" x 3/8" welded-steel tube frame, commercial-grade hydraulic cylinders, and chrome-moly cylinder shafts that conform to ANSI 92.2 standards. A pass-through cylinder stem travels completely through the primary frame, while the one-piece barrel helps keep the bending gates aligned with the ram throughout the bend cycle.
A strong 5 HP energy-efficient motor, direct-drive high-speed 4 gpm pump, large-capacity fluid reservoir, canister oil filter, oil sight gauges, oversized 1/2" high-pressure hose, and adjustable front pressure valve all support consistent hydraulic performance. Bending heads are precision ground to within .002", and heat-treated tooling helps extend service life in demanding shop environments.
End Finishing, Tool Organization, and Shop Mobility
The BB-2 gives shops more than bending capability. Two separate rear end-finishing units support necessary flaring and expanding work, while the drop-in collar helps make swaging operations quick and efficient. Twist-lock tooling and quick-release bending dies help reduce setup time between jobs, which matters when the schedule is stacked and every minute has already been sold twice.
Enclosed controls keep the bending area cleaner, pressure gauges show system pressure at a glance, and convenient tool trays help keep tooling organized. Industrial-grade casters make it easier to move the bender around the shop, while standard grease fittings and oversized barrel shafts support easier maintenance over the long haul.
