The BendPak 1302BAS Semi-Automatic Pipe Bender is built for shops that want to move faster than a manual bender while keeping operation simple and familiar. It is the middle path in the BendPak pipe bender lineup: more automation than the BB-2, less programming complexity than the 1302BA, and plenty of hydraulic strength for exhaust, muffler, and custom tubing work.
Its 3-button control supports automatic or manual bending operations, while remote foot-operated controls give technicians added long-distance control during setup and bending. For shops that want higher throughput, quick-change tooling, and consistent bends without needing digital program storage, the 1302BAS is the practical upgrade.

The 1302BAS makes sense when your shop wants semi-automatic speed and repeatable workflow, but does not need the digital control board and stored bend programs of the 1302BA. Compared with the BB-2, it gives operators more control convenience through automatic/manual bending control and remote foot operation, helping reduce effort during repeated bending tasks.
Compared with the 1302BA, the 1302BAS keeps the experience simpler. It is ideal for busy exhaust shops that perform a wide range of original equipment and custom bends but do not need to store up to 99 bend depths. You get BendPak’s core bending platform with a straightforward semi-automatic control setup.
Deep Bend Capability with Quick-Change Tooling
The 1302BAS is built around the customer request that matters most in pipe bending: getting deeper, cleaner bends without fighting the pipe. BendPak pipe benders are designed to bend on a 5" radius while helping prevent pipe sticking, hang-ups, excessive crimping, and deformation that can waste time and material.
Quick-change bending dies, twist-lock tooling, quick-release bending and finishing dies, and an integrated power-relief control valve help technicians move through bending jobs with less setup friction. Optional 180° bending dies are available for shops that need more than 170° of bend depth.
Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Construction for Daily Shop Use
The 1302BAS uses the same kind of serious construction that makes BendPak pipe benders valuable in production environments: a rigid 6" x 6" x 3/8" welded-steel tube frame, commercial-grade hydraulic cylinders, chrome-moly shafts, and a one-piece barrel that helps keep the bending gates aligned with the ram.
A 5 HP energy-efficient motor, direct-drive high-speed 4 gpm pump, large-capacity fluid reservoir, canister oil filter, oil sight gauges, pressure gauges, and industrial-grade casters help make the 1302BAS powerful, serviceable, and mobile enough for real shop conditions. Tool trays keep dies organized, and enclosed controls help keep the bending area clean.

A 3-button control setup supports automatic or manual bending. It is ideal for shops that want speed without jumping to digital program storage.
Remote Foot Operation
Remote foot-operated controls give technicians added long-distance control during bending operations. That helps improve positioning and workflow around the machine.
