Its low-profile design, reclining backrest, padded seat, and durable caster setup make it useful across automotive shops, garages, and other service environments.
Designed to support demanding jobs, the ERGO-SCOOT gives users a more comfortable platform for work that would otherwise require awkward body positions. It can serve as a low-profile creeper or convert into a rolling work seat with the included riser system, giving operators more flexibility in one piece of equipment.
Adjustable Backrest and Riser Kit Versatility
The ERGO-SCOOT uses a gas spring backrest locking mechanism that adjusts from 0 degrees to approximately 60 degrees. This range lets users recline for low-profile work or sit more upright when the job calls for better visibility and reach.
When additional height is needed, the adjustable risers convert the low-profile creeper into a rolling work seat. Locking pins adjust the seat height from 14 inches to 18 inches off the ground, and the riser kit adds approximately 8 inches to 12 inches of maximum height.
TPR Swivel Casters for Controlled Movement
Heavy-duty ball-bearing TPR swivel casters help the ERGO-SCOOT move smoothly across the shop floor. Four 360-degree casters, including two locking casters, give users mobility when repositioning and added control when they need the seat to stay put.
The thermoplastic rubber wheels are oil resistant, non-marking, and resistant to chemicals, acids, alcohol, and water. Their wide, large-diameter design also helps ease travel over rough surfaces, which is exactly where bargain-bin creepers usually start embarrassing themselves.
Padded Marine-Vinyl Seat with Built-In Tool Storage
The ERGO-SCOOT is built with a comfortable thick-padded seat and backrest using heavy-duty non-slip textured marine-grade vinyl. The padded marine vinyl backrest and seat are abrasion, chemical, and oil resistant, helping the seat survive the kind of work environments where clean tools are a rumor.
A built-in tool box adds useful storage below the seat, with inside dimensions of 13.75 inches x 4.6 inches x 3.75 inches. With a powder-coated welded tubular steel frame and a 350-lb. maximum capacity, the ERGO-SCOOT combines comfort, adjustability, and practical shop utility.
