Eight PCL-18B Columns for Fleet Shops That Refuse to Tap Out

Eight PCL-18B Columns for Fleet Shops That Refuse to Tap Out

The BendPak PCL-18B-8 Mobile Column Lift Set is built for operations that need maximum fleet-lifting flexibility. With eight 18,000-lb. mobile columns, shops can support extremely demanding heavy-duty service strategies, including splitting the columns into two four-column sets to lift multiple commercial trucks up to 72,000 lbs. per set. This is the kind of lifting system that makes sense when standard four-post heavy-duty lifts are no longer enough. If your shop services vehicles beyond the practical range of a 40,000-lb. four-post lift, a full set of PCL-18B mobile column lifts gives you a more adaptable path to serious heavy-vehicle service.
One Big Fleet Investment, Multiple Ways to Use It

One Big Fleet Investment, Multiple Ways to Use It

The strength of an eight-column package is not only its capacity, but its flexibility. Use the columns together when the job calls for a larger lifting arrangement, or separate them into two four-column lift setups when the schedule demands more throughput across multiple bays. That adaptability helps shops take on heavy-duty trucks, buses, and commercial fleet vehicles without locking every service job into one permanent bay. The columns move with the work, which is exactly the point when the vehicles are massive and the shop schedule keeps changing.

Precision Controls for Large-Scale Mobile Lifting

The PCL-18B system is designed so lift operation can be programmed and controlled from any column. Smart electronics with self-diagnostics and self-calibration functions help simplify operation, while sealed and enclosed linear potentiometers provide high-frequency response for synchronized column communication. The system supports SINGLE, PAIR, or TEAM operation, plus programmable height limits and two-speed lowering. Whether your team is working around low ceilings, specific service heights, or multi-bay fleet routines, the control system is built to help operators manage large-scale lifting with confidence.

Commercial-Grade Column Construction from Floor to Fork

Each PCL-18B column is built for heavy commercial environments with an enclosed electric-hydraulic power system, low-mounted power unit, pallet-jack style steering, tandem polyurethane-covered steel wheels, sealed roller bearings, heavy-duty carriage rollers, and durable forklift pockets for moving columns between facilities. Safety systems include 24-volt circuitry, multi-fuse protected electronics, warning lights, audible alarms, emergency shut-off switches, manual safety override valves, automatic locks every four inches, and inverted hydraulic cylinders with integrated safety valves. The result is a powerful mobile column system built for shops that treat heavy lifting like everyday work.
