Six PCL-18B Columns for the Big Jobs Most Lifts Back Away From

The BendPak PCL-18B-6 Mobile Column Lift Set is built for shops that service large commercial vehicles and need up to 108,000 lbs. of system lifting capacity. With six 18,000-lb. columns working together, this setup gives truck shops, transit operations, fleet maintenance teams, and heavy-duty service facilities the lifting power needed for bigger equipment. Even with that level of capacity, the system remains mobile. Once the vehicle is lowered, each column can be moved and stowed, allowing the shop to preserve floor flexibility instead of surrendering valuable space to a fixed heavy-duty lift.

A six-column setup is the right step when four columns are not enough for the vehicle length, weight, or service requirement. The PCL-18B-6 lets operators lift larger heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles while maintaining synchronized column movement throughout the lifting cycle. All columns connect through a control system that can be managed from any column. Smart electronics, self-diagnostics, self-calibration functions, and sealed linear potentiometers help maintain precise communication so the vehicle remains level as it rises and lowers.

Move Heavy Columns Without Fighting the Shop Floor

The PCL-18B columns are built for mobility in demanding commercial facilities. Pallet-jack style steering wheels, tandem 8-inch polyurethane-covered steel wheels, sealed roller bearings, and a tight turning radius help operators move each column around large vehicles and uneven shop conditions. Low-mounted power units and cylinders help keep the center of gravity lower than screw-drive systems with heavy overhead motors. Extended forks and multi-width wheel forks with locking pins support wide tires and deep wheel configurations often found on heavy-duty vehicles.

Safety Systems Designed for Six-Column Confidence

Safety Systems Designed for Six-Column Confidence

Lifting vehicles at this scale demands more than raw hydraulic power. The PCL-18B-6 includes 24-volt safety circuitry, warning lights, audible alarms, emergency shut-off switches, multi-fuse protected electronics, and separate key lock enclosures on each column. Multiple automatic independent safety locks are spaced every four inches, and inverted hydraulic cylinders include integrated safety valves to help prevent uncontrolled lowering in the event of oil pressure loss. Manual safety override valves allow the lift to be lowered during a power outage without manual hand cranks.
