The Cool Boss CB-28 Evaporative Air Cooler is a medium-duty commercial-grade cooler built for large industrial space cooling, garages, shops, warehouses, patios, and work areas that need serious airflow without the cost of conventional air conditioning. With 8,120 CFM of air delivery and coverage up to 4,060 square feet, the CB-28 is designed to bring practical cooling power to big, hot spaces.
This is the middle-ground choice for users who need more output than a compact spot cooler but do not require the larger 36-inch CB-36. It runs indoors or outdoors, uses everyday tap water, and gives facilities a portable cooling solution that can be moved where comfort and productivity matter most.
Honeycool Media and 80-Gallon Reservoir for Longer Cooling
The CB-28 uses four Honeycool™ evaporative media pads that soak up water and act like a pre-chiller for incoming hot air. As air passes through the resin-covered honeycomb structure, evaporation helps turn hot, stuffy air into cooler, fresher airflow.
An 80-gallon auto-refilling reservoir supports long running times between fill-ups, especially in areas where a garden hose is not available. Variable fan speeds and water-flow controls let users dial in both air movement and water use based on the conditions.
28-Inch Blue Flex Fan with Directional Venturi Airflow
A 28-inch Blue Flex™ fan powered by a 1/3 HP motor circulates air through a venturi fan cone that concentrates velocity for a stronger, more directional blast of cool air. The axial-flow fan design pulls a high volume of air at low RPMs for efficient cooling performance.
At higher RPMs, the fan blades slightly alter shape to help reduce drag and improve energy efficiency. The result is strong air movement from a portable evaporative cooler built for real commercial and industrial use, not just casual patio duty.
Worksite Convenience with Lighting, Bluetooth, and Controls
The CB-28 includes features that make it more useful in active work environments. An adjustable 80W outdoor-rated LED floodlight produces 4,000 lumens of bright work-area light, while a built-in Bluetooth® audio player with stereo speakers brings music, radio, or podcasts into the space.
Soft-touch LED controls, a remote control with holder, built-in timer, durable swivel casters, GFCI plug, protective cover, antibacterial HDPE housing, and UL® certification all make the CB-28 a practical cooling machine for users who want power, mobility, and convenience in one unit.
