TLC ADDS WEST COAST CUSTOMS TO THURSDAY NIGHT TURBO LINE-UP
WITH NEW SERIES, STREET CUSTOMS, STARTING THIS FALL
SILVER SPRING, MD ? TLC announces its new six-part TURBO series, STREET CUSTOMS,
starring Ryan Friedlinghaus and his automotive shop, West Coast Customs. This series will
feature the West Coast Customs crew in their new state-of the-art facility as they tackle some
of the most extraordinary car builds ever conceptualized and built on television.

STREET CUSTOMS is expected to premiere in the fall of 2007 on TLC?s Thursday night lineup,
TURBO ON TLC, which features the best ?motorized? content Discovery Networks has to
offer. STREET CUSTOMS is executive produced by Craig Piligian and his Pilgrim Films and
Television with Ryan Friedlinghaus as an executive producer. For TLC, Mark Poertner is
executive producer.
STREET CUSTOMS highlights the talents of car customizing star Ryan Friedlinghaus and
his unorthodox approach to managing his West Coast Customs family of artisans and
technicians. STREET CUSTOMS features not only the process behind the builds, but
showcases West Coast Customs? original designs that have propelled them to the top of the
car-tuning game. Each episode of STREET CUSTOMS chronicles the boundary-busting
car builds that epitomize the street edge, passion and craftsmanship West Coast Customs
represents and Friedlinghaus demands.
The builds range in scope from customizing modern-styled street rods to chopping up
$100,000 luxury vehicles. These incredible creations have an impressive client list to
match, including sports icons, Hollywood elite and famous car aficionados.
West Coast Customs houses experienced craftsmen, each greatly skilled, yet territorial and
temperamental. As a result, Friedlinghaus is forced to spend much of the build getting crew
members to work together, an endlessly demanding task that provides for much of the
series? drama. West Coast Customs new facility is located in Corona, Calif. and is the
primary location for STREET CUSTOMS.
?TLC is a great home for West Coast Customs to display the one-of-a-kind cars our shop
builds on a regular basis and the highly creative and skilled craftsmen we have on our
team,? said Ryan Friedlinghaus, owner of West Coast Customs.
?STREET CUSTOMS is a highly anticipated series for TLC and will complement our strong
line-up of automotive and motorcycle enthusiast programming like AMERICAN CHOPPER,
AMERICAN HOT ROD and WRECKS TO RICHES. These TURBO on TLC series explore
the drama and artistry of the build process and we are excited to have the West Coast
Customs team join TLC,? said Christian Drobnyk, Senior Vice President of Programming
for TLC.
Having pioneered the ?automotive/motorcycle build? genre of reality television with the hit
series, AMERICAN CHOPPER, Pilgrim Films and Television?s CEO and President, Craig
Piligian, adds STREET CUSTOMS to his run of groundbreaking series like DIRTY JOBS,
AMERICAN HOT ROD, GHOST HUNTERS and THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER.
