BendPak - Intellectual Property Matters - 12/15/2006

BendPak means business when it comes to intellectual property matters.

SANTA PAULA, CA - December 15, 2006. BendPak SR. VP. of Sales, Jeff Kritzer is
talking tough when it comes to copyright infringement of the automotive industry giant?s
intellectual property. He?s gone public to put pressure on all violators that use BendPak
copyrighted photographs or other copyrighted works without permission or have made
unauthorized alterations that they could be liable for statutory damages. ?It is illegal for
anyone to use or misuse our product photographs or other copyrighted works without
accepting responsibility. These violators will surely find themselves in a deep legal
quagmire and not just those located in the United States, this is a global undertaking.
We?re taking a real hard stance and mean to prosecute all violators to the furthest extent
of the law? said Mr. Kritzer. ?Our customers are being confused because such a broad
proliferation of altered BendPak photographs and from this day forward our approach
will be firm and direct. Lawsuits have already been filed.? BendPak cautions all violators
that they cease the use and distribution of all infringing works or they will take
further action.
