Motor City Motors premieres tonight (December 28, 2009) on Discovery Channel at 7 PM and again at 10 PM! If you don’t have cable or satellite, it’s time to suck up to that neighbor who does because you don’t want to miss this!

From the Discovery Channel site:

Motor City Motors follows renowned fabricators and custom-bike builders Dave and James Kaye, founders of Detroit Bros. Custom Cycles.

Watch each week as the brothers — with their father, John — tap into the Detroit-based talent and assemble a team of builders and specialists. Together they push the boundaries of automotive engineering to create one-of-a-kind vehicles — with a five-day limit for each build.

From turning a 1929 Model T into one of the coolest gassers in the city to transforming a 1992 GMC Suburban into a pothole filler, the builds are limited only by the ingenuity and imagination of the Detroit Brothers and their crews. The Kayes hope the series gives the local community, as well as their own struggling business, a much-needed boost.

Here’s some video links to keep you busy until the premiere.

Look closely and you’ll see a BendPak 4-Post HD-Series car lift getting put to excellent use. And keep a close eye on all of their shop machinery…there’s a lot of BendPak / Ranger equipment kicking around the Motor City Motors garage.

Great show. Dave is a hard worker. Dad is great too. If James does not think he has to be apart of the team. Please get him off the show. He is messing the show up. I have been waiting for my lawsuit to be finished. My dream was to buy one of thier bikes. I have bought a new full dresser, and many new harleys over the years. I just think there frame and bike is the best looking. James be a help to your brother and make this a great show. Great work Dave and dad.
