Ranger Products Releases RP-50FC 25-Ton Capacity Oil Filter Crusher

rp-50fc oil filter crusher renderingRanger Products is debuting a new oil filter crusher that flattens used oil filters with over 50,000 lbs. of crushing force, reducing them to 20% of their original size. The Ranger RP-50FC transforms used oil filters, normally regulated by the EPA, into general refuse by squeezing out 95% of residual oil and transforming the used filter into a compact puck that can then be disposed of as normal waste or recycled for profit. By removing virtually all of the residual oil, operators are able to eliminate EPA mandates and separately recycle both the used oil and crushed oil filters. With recycled waste oil realizing prices as high as a dollar per gallon and recycled scrap metal prices on the rise, the Ranger RP-50FC oil filter crusher earns business owners a return on investment over time.

The Ranger RP-50FC comes with many built-in features to ensure convenient use and safe operation of the oil filter crusher. Simple operator controls are ergonomically placed to minimize operator reach and movement during faced-paced, high-repetition work. A fully automatic cycle feature allows operators to load filters, push a button and walk away. Also included is a remote electric foot switch that allows convenient, hands-free operation of all basic controls. BendPak Unveils Elite Series of Multi-Stage Air Compressors

Santa Paula, California – July 2016 – BendPak recently introduced a new family of two-stage air compressors to increase their presence in the commercial and industrial markets. Their latest V-Max Elite Air Compressor Series models are equipped with 7.5 or 10 horsepower energy-efficient motors paired with huge 4-cylinder 100% cast iron pumps resting on 80-gallon or 120-gallon welded steel tanks. V-Max Elite models are perfectly matched for busy shops and businesses that demand round-the-clock air supply, less energy consumption and low service and maintenance requirements. A slightly smaller model, the TS-5 Elite Air Compressor, is equipped with a 5 horsepower energy-efficient motor paired with a twin cylinder cast iron pump.

The recent total model overhaul includes other design enhancements that focus on structural integrity and design to meet and exceed ever-changing world safety standards. Their new XPR “S” series lineup, available in 9,000 and 10,000-lb. capacities, also features stackable risers that can be used in conjunction with the adjustable screw pads for even greater versatility.

These easy-to-adjust screw pad assemblies feature precision threaded receivers that drop into enlarged 60-mm holes positioned at the ends of the telescoping lifting arms found exclusively on BendPak’s latest “S” series models. Also available are 44, 63 and 125 mm stackable adapters that increase versatility even further and help speed up vehicle set-up times while better accommodating varied vehicle chassis.

New Tuf‐Pads™ Will Change the Way You Lift

When you think of a BendPak two-post lift, you probably picture a big, beefy two-post frame surrounding a huge truck that is suspended majestically off the ground. The funny thing is, all of that relies on four things you probably didn’t think about—the contact pads. We offer many options here at BendPak, but by far the most popular has been our rubber pads.

But since these points of contact are so important, we started to ask ourselves: can we do better? And as usual, when we put our minds to it, we came up with something pretty darn great.

The problem with natural rubber is that it can degrade over time and, in extreme conditions, be hurt by certain chemicals. And even if that doesn’t happen, the material can be gouged or cut. But that shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. After all, its malleability is part of what makes natural rubber so grabby.

So after trying several popular compounds, our engineers hit on the perfect new material for our two-post pads—something at least as grabby as natural rubber but superior in strength and overall toughness: Polyurethane. These new Polyurethane two-post contact pads are so tough in fact, that we are proud to call them Tuf-Pads™.

You see, they use a specially formulated hardness elastomer that we designed specifically to resist cutting, abrasions, and gouging—even those tricky chemicals and solvents–but without sacrificing that necessary stickiness that you get from rubber. And not only that, we made new Tuf-Pads™ extra durable to extend the life of the contact pads, taking your investment even further than you thought.

Like we said, those contact pads are small when compared to the rest of the two-post car lift structure, but they can make all the difference. So here at BendPak, we sweat the little stuff so you won’t have to.

R26FLT Heavy-Duty Truck Tire Changer Demo

We just wrapped filming a new demo video to show off the functions of our newest heavy-duty truck tire changer, the R26FLT from Ranger.

This beefy tire changer turns the tire changing process into a beautifully simple task. Designed specifically for heavy duty truck tires that can weigh upwards of 200 lbs. each, our new tire changer is able to overpower all obstacles and control every aspect of the process with grace and ease.

The R26FLT tire changer is equipped with a portable control tower that includes a separate module for each function on the machine. There are two joysticks, one that controls the bead breaking tool on a horizontal axis plus the tire arm height on a vertical axis and another that opens and closes the jaw clamps. On the bottom, there is a foot pedal that rotates the tire arm either left or right, while the top button (the big red one) turns the machine on and off.

As you can imagine, we ended up mounting and demounting these tires about twenty times, so the lube that comes standard with each changer came in handy. The R26FLT also comes with a huge pry bar, but we never had cause to use it.

The whole thing took us about two days to film. Currently the video is being edited in post-production, but we’ll post it as soon as it’s ready. Until then, check out these production photos on the official BendPak Flickr page.

At BendPak, we develop our products with every kind of automotive enthusiast in mind. That’s one of the reasons we offer a complete line of car lifts, garage equipment and accessories at nearly every level and capacity. Continuing with that line of thought, BendPak is happy to announce the upcoming release of our car lift accessory: hard polypropylene drip trays for our four-post car lifts.

Drip trays are an essential car lift accessory, especially if you have a leak or find yourself in the middle of a project, but still really need to park an automobile beneath your lift. To solve the common problem of potentially harmful drips, BendPak has previously offered only galvanized steel drip trays and steel decks, specifically for the HD-9 series car lifts.

Don’t get us wrong—BendPak high-quality, galvanized drip trays are great. Not only are they strong and protect your property, they also look sharp while doing it. But what about when you’re dealing with really filthy fluids in the long term? Or what if you’re moving the tray and / or car lift around a lot because you’re busy with several projects at once? It’s no fun to keep cleaning and moving the same heavy-duty drip tray over and over, but before now there weren’t many other options.

So we developed a new line of affordable, impact-resistant polypropylene drip trays that are both rugged and light. Sold in packs of three, each tray comes with 56 articulated catches and gutters to restrain the fluid from sloshing out. So all that oil, coolant and other muck stays neatly contained within individual compartments, even when carried or bumped. We also chose a smart, black color for these new trays in order to better hide the appearance of stains and blemishes.
