Big Upgrades Coming to Ranger Tire Changers

Earlier this year, Ranger Products released two different flavors of tire-changing excellence: the RX980-A pure-air operated tire changer and the RX980-E, an electrical version. While each of these units proved themselves to be versatile tire-changing powerhouses in their own right, it occurred to us that the tire machines were really two sides of the same coin.
Now we’ve done the only logical thing—taken the strengths of each and combined them into one incredible value. And then, simply because we have trouble leaving well enough alone, we went ahead and raised the bar on the features that matter most to you.
Remember the old 1.5 HP motor? No more. This tire changer boasts a full two horses. The turntable too is a greater force to be reckoned with. We doubled the amount of cylinders and revamped the clamping action. But the best part is that none of this comes at extra cost to you.

Sneak Peek Photo Shoot: The All-New Ranger RX3040 Tire Changer

You may have noticed that the Ranger side of the house has been a bit quiet since the release of the oil filter crusher video earlier this month. So? Have we been slacking off? Taking it easy? Not a chance! We’ve been gearing up for our two biggest announcements of the year.
Introducing the Ranger RX3040 Tire Changer. This thing hasn’t even been released yet, and it’s already what everyone’s talking about ever since a demo made the rounds at AAPEX this year. The New Paragon of Parking Lift Technology From BendPak

Our latest innovation changes the older PL-6SP Parking Lift series into an entirely new animal. Introducing the PL-6000 single-post parking lift! Of the many important changes we’ve incorporated into this parking machine you’ll want to pay special attention to the following two special new enhancements. First, the console cabinet and electric safety lock solenoid found on our older models have now been integrated into a specialty power unit stand for even easier operation. Second, you’ll find that the control arm now has an exceptionally smart, pull-type safety lock release, ensuring that your lift is ready to lower the vehicle the moment you are! The PL-6000 is also available in an extended edition, called the PL-6000X.
You asked for it and we heard you. Big changes are coming to the PL-7000 series lifts—which is to say that all PL-7000s are becoming the upgraded PL-7000X extended edition. According to our research, the 85” rise featured by the PL-7000X is just the perfect height demanded by our customers. Therefore, we will no longer be producing the 73” PL-7000 standard rise.

Think about how much the typical commercial garage spends on EPA-approved oil filter disposal. It probably lands someplace between $50 and $100 per 450-lb. barrel, which comes to about 40 cents per filter. Even if you only end up with one full barrel a month, that’s as much as $1,200 out of your pocket for each year of operation.
Disposal companies profit off of government mandated disposal programs and add to your business’s operating overhead. Then, they turn around and grab extra revenue by selling the crushed cans for scrap. Especially in these belt-tightening times, this is probably the last place you’d like to see your money go.
